Brewing Notes

Accidentally had strike water at 168 instead of 158. Once I poured the grain in and realized this. I grabbed a bunch of ice and dropped that down to 142. Slowly heating back up to 148 as I begin the mash timer.

I hit 7 gallons pre-boil. I should probably dial the sparge volume back a bit for increased efficiency.

I added the 60 minute boil addition at 50 minute

I dry hopped and there was still a pretty high krausen and lots of activity. It looks like it's 1 day away from FG though. Hopefully that wasn't a mistake. I added ALDC so hopefully that helps

Finally made the co2 keg lung. Starting the cold crash! Looking forward to not sucking up sanitizer now
